The quaint and welcoming restaurant was a nice intimate setting. There was not much seating options, however we sat down and I ordered a green tea and miso and it did not disappoint. The portions were very large and tasty! We also were able to enjoy the entree of gyoza with the bowl and soup! All in all a great option we may try new things from the menu again soon

Small, very cutely decorated ramen spot in RVC. The service was great and the waitress was attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the iced green tea was good too! I got the spicy ramen noodles and it was delicious and filled with flavor. Highly recommend.

NO GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. When looking this restaurant up, it pulled up on Yelp as GF. My husband enjoyed his order. I'm still going to give it good ratings. The service was great. It's a cute place. Waitress was nice.

I came in here randomly because I was in the mood for some ramen. I walked in and got seated right away. I saw a sign that said free dessert if you order a ramen and an appetizer so I ordered a ramen and an appetizer. The ramen I ordered was a vegan ramen which has a miso broth! It was absolutely delicious. My ramen had mushrooms, bok choy, corn, avocado and herbs. The ramen here is hand made and my ramen was made from spinach and was bursting with robust flavor. The fried chicken katsu was also good but I could do without it next time since I couldn't finish it all. The mochi was actually delicious, probably some of the best mochi I've had in a while but I'm not sure if it was made in house or store bought. Nontheless everything was delicious! The inside of this place is very aesthetically pleasing! I like that it had a lot of vintage items on display in the wall and the greenery and floral arrangements gave the place a nice feeling.

I've been to 8 ramen a couple of times and each time is always delicious and enjoyable. The service is always so great and organized especially when its time for busy hour. The ramen bowl is a good portion and filling. We also got two free mochi desserts as today's special. PS the decor is soooo cute

It's winter and my favorite go to spot for instant warmth and comfort food is 8 Ramen. The decor is a mood booster and in a romantic kind of way. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I ordered the fried squid and spicy meso ramen with shrimp. So good!

Visit Date: January 6, 2024 I came here with my son and my dad. My son decided he wanted to try instant noodles. So I got him a side of plain ramen. I didn't want to spend too much money so I got the pork bun for myself. My son got the blue hawai soda and my dad got a bowl with ramen, a poached egg and broth. The pork bun was good, a nice appetizer. My son seemed to like the noodles. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were also very nice.

I ate ramen at 8 ramen. Not my finest joke but not the finest ramen. Don't get me wrong, they deserve their 4 stars. The decor is fantastic and whimsical. The service is fast and consistent. The vibe is chill overall and the place is clean. The ramen is good. Noodles were perfect texture but the broth just left a bit to be desired. The shrimp tempura is great and you feel better knowing you pay less when you being cash. Overall a good choice for aesthetics and a quick bite.

We were in Rockville Centre looking for some comfort food and settled on 8 Ramen. Ambience: a cute little dining room that could pass for a flower shop, with flower bouquets hanging all around. Great place for a date night or if you have a bunch of little girls with you. Food: Crispy Bacon chips - strips of bacon? Doesn't get better than this. Why doesn't everyone else do this?! 5/5 Takoyaki - fried octopus balls. Standard fare at most Japanese Ramen shops 4/5 Spicy 8 Ramen - a fried chicken katsu served with some stir fried ramen and poached egg. Can't go wrong with fried chicken, however, I wasn't a big fan of the ramen. Perhaps I missed drinking the broth that I associate with ramen. 4/5
